Default Apps Offer Most of Want You Need Right Away Get Accostomed to all of Them
- With all of the things this calendar app can do you will be amazed. We will review many during our workshop. Likely to become your favorite calendar format.
- The notes app is handy. You can e-mail from it and capture quickly some important item of the day.
- Type in the 'Eiffel Tower' and then drop a pin on a street nearby. Click on the street view icon. Also the the lower right corner and turn on other features.
- Open your browser and let's explore the buttons at the top of the screen and find your iPad Guide. Check out and explore save to Home screen, save a bookmark, review history and save your reading list in Safari.
- Go and take 10 photos. Shoot 3 video shorts of your own. Use PhotoBooth to change your photos.
Free Balloon Stickies,
or another free photo app of your choosing. Then use your new photo app with one of your still photos you just took.
- You will set up your mail and that will allow you to utilize FaceTime 
another default app. FaceTime may utilized during the school day to communicate among staff, bus drivers, secretaries, teachers. Here is a video about FaceTime if you have never used it.
iBooks - Find this in the Apps Store if it is not loaded on your iPad. Once downloaded, go to the iBooks store and search for 2 guides and a .pdf K12 Horizon Report to download. We love the iBooks for keeping all of our .pdf organized and easy to read. We think you will enjoy this feature of iBooks as well. - We will divide up the settings for discovery, exploration, and reporting back to the whole group. Restrictions, Accessibility, Front end, Gestures etc. will be some of the categories.
The possibilities abound for the classroom with this tiny piece of equipment. We will demonstrate this new feature for display of your iPad desktop through a HDMI connection. This may be something to consider for several classroom settings. And at or around $99 it has real possibilities for your classrooms. SplashTop- With this app we can control our computer in our office or at home, free.
Doceri v1.2.2- With this app your control your computer for the class to see. Similar to a whiteboard.
Classroom Mosaic- One of many apps available for use by administrative teams. Not as sophisticated as some. This can be a good place to start.
