About Us

Since 1969, ESDs have connected and strengthened Washington's school communities.

ESD 113 serves 44 school districts, one Tribal Compact School, and more than 20 private schools across Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, and Thurston counties. We amplify impact by connecting state, federal, and private funding with local expertise through partnerships, cooperatives, grants, and targeted services that respond to community needs.

We receive feedback and guidance on our work from our region's Superintendents' Executive Advisory Committee. Our elected Board of Directors brings regional expertise to strategic planning, program oversight, and financial management while ensuring accountability and excellence. Working with Washington's eight other ESDs through the Association of Educational Service Districts, we multiply positive impact statewide.
