RALLY

Lewis County Thrives

The Lewis County Youth Mentorship Program has partnered with Molina Healthcare and Centralia College for a 2023 Back-To-School Supply Drive and Resource Fair serving families in Chehalis and Lewis County. We anticipate approximately 400 families and hope you can join us to bring essential school items and free haircuts to kids in our shared community.

Save the date and celebrate with us Thursday, August 10, from 11 am–2 pm at Centralia College. We will provide a table and 2 chairs for vendors (please let us know if you will need more or if you need other accommodations). Vendor tables are free to those bringing items for the supply drive. We do have sponsorship opportunities available with added promotional benefits.

We will set up our indoor event space in rows and direct the flow of visitors so participants will have a chance to visit all vendors. And, in the spirit of giving, we’re asking our partners to come prepared with some items from the following list, which reflects highly needed items for K-8 students. Raffle baskets are always great too!

Please sign up here.

For more information, please visit the event flyer.

If you have any further questions or are interested in sponsoring this event, please contact Lisa Leon at [email protected]v, Bobbi Callies at [email protected], or Chrystal Patterson at [email protected]

The Pacific Logging Conference Live In-Woods show will showcase both the Weyerhaeuser Vail Tree Farm as well as active and static industry displays. The active sites provide an excellent opportunity to view the latest technology in timber-harvesting equipment. This is a great opportunity for young people to experience hands-on what logging and other forest-related careers look like. The event runs from September 20–22, 2023. For more information or to register for this experience, please go here.
