Behavioral Health Support for Children, Youth & Teens: A Role for All Caregivers

Description

Many children, youth, and teens are struggling right now with mental and behavioral health. Often, the people closest to them are unsure of how to offer support, how to do so in a way that is effective, and how to recognize signs that professional help may be needed. This 60-minute regional webinar will be provided to parents, caregivers, and other supporters of children and youth who are looking for additional skills and tools to assist with mental and behavioral health-related issues. We will cover the common symptoms that may be experienced, provide information on how to increase effective and healthy coping skills, communication tactics, and how to look for signs that professional help may be needed. We all have a role to play in behavioral health support for children and youth. This webinar will empower caregivers of all kinds with interventions and supports that work to reduce symptoms and increase resilience.
