Description

Introducing Girls Who Code Clubs – Free and Flexible program to spark students computer science interest. (Amazon Club Support $300)

Educational Service District 113 is partnering with Girls Who Code to bring free and fun computer science activities to our community. Girls Who Code offers FREE turnkey programs for 3rd-12th grade students to join a community of supportive peers and role models and use computer science to change the world.

Join us on September 14 to hear from Valerie Tomici, our Girls Who Code representative, to learn more about how you can start a Girls Who Code Club at your school. When you start a Girls Who Code Club, you’ll get access to everything you need — including training, an easy-to-use and flexible coding curriculum, and even free GWC swag for each of your Club members. This year, Clubs with three or more members registered will receive a $300 Amazon Wish List for supplies and snacks. Clubs curriculum feature coding tutorials for all skill levels, inspiring role models in tech, community-building activities, and project-based learning. You don’t need any prior coding experience to get started! Plus — all genders are welcome in this girls-supportive environment.
