Developmentally Appropriate Practices for PE, Music, Art, and Other SpecialsREGISTER
In this workshop, participants will explore actionable strategies for supporting students in Transitional Kindergarten programs. Instructional strategies that are grounded in an understanding of the developmental progression of early childhood across domains (social-emotional, physical, cognitive, language, literacy, and math) will be shared. These strategies will empower participants to design appropriate learning opportunities that are versatile, integrated, and accessible for all students. We will also discuss behavior supports, the importance of routines, observational assessments, and opportunities for developing independence.
