ESD 113's Safety Services create secure learning environments where staff and students thrive while meeting all legal requirements. We work with school districts across five counties to build comprehensive safety programs that protect people and prevent hazards.
Our team brings expert knowledge and certified training to our districts. We conduct detailed building inspections, assess workplace conditions, and identify potential dangers before they become problems. Through proactive safety measures, we help districts save money, reduce injuries, and maintain healthy work environments.
Safety Services include four key areas that work together to protect your school community. Our asbestos management services ensure federal compliance through certified inspections and detailed planning. Ergonomic evaluations create comfortable workstations that prevent injuries and boost productivity. Safety walkthroughs identify hazards and build awareness among staff. Grant funding supports district safety improvements with up to $5,000 available annually.
Member districts receive many services at no additional cost through our Workers' Compensation Trust program. This partnership approach helps schools focus resources on student learning while we handle complex safety requirements. Our goal is simple: create safe spaces where everyone can do their best work.
