Our Safe Harbor website has launched!

Safe Harbor is a one-stop directory to support districts and families as they seek support or assistance in their behavioral health, safety, and whole child wellness. This website will focus on the ESD 113 region consisting of Thurston, Mason, Grays Harbor, Lewis, and Pacific counties.

“We are excited to share that Capital Region ESD 113 and the Student Support team have created a website called Safe Harbor to aid our region in behavioral health system navigation, resources, and supports,” says Behavioral Health Systems Coordinator Hailey Shelton.

Along with resources for students and families, the website has many web resources available for school staff and caregivers.

“Safe Harbor aims to increase knowledge and awareness of mental well-being, to provide information about systems of support, and increase access to care,” Shelton adds. “The mission of Safe Harbor is to serve as a guide for students, families, and schools as they navigate decisions regarding substance abuse, mental health needs, school safety, and other resources.”
