Jennifer Priddy Named Associate Superintendent of Business and Operations

Jennifer Priddy

TUMWATER – June 15, 2023 – At their meeting on June 14, the Capital Region Educational Service District 113 (ESD 113) Board of Directors named Jennifer Priddy as their next Associate Superintendent of Business and Operations. This position oversees several ESD programs including school fiscal services, human resources, workers’ compensation cooperative, information technology, and information service center.

Priddy joins the ESD after serving 13 years as the Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Capital Planning for Olympia School District. Major efforts included planning and implementing a $200 million school construction and remodel Master Plan, successful enrichment and technology levy campaigns, investments in school equity and programmatic excellence, and adjusting the district after COVID-19 for a lower enrollment level and the depletion of federal pandemic stabilization funds. Prior to the Olympia School District, Priddy served as Assistant Superintendent of Financial Services for two State Superintendents of Public Instruction, leading their efforts to improve funding levels and modernize funding systems for nearly a decade. Her work included convening advisory groups of ESD, professional organizations, and school district experts to devise, review, and advocate for funding systems and funding levels for K–12 education. Ultimately the work of these advisory teams was embodied in the prototypical model and McCleary legislation.

Priddy will begin her new role on August 28. She will replace JoLynn Berge.
