ESD 113 Welcomes New Board Members

At the January 2026 ESD 113 Board of Directors meeting, we welcomed two new board members. ESD 113 board members serve four-year terms. Our board members bring their expertise and dedication to serve the students, families, and schools in our region.

Vivian Eason will serve District 1, covering the areas of Morton, Mossyrock, Onalaska, Rainier, Tenino, Toledo, White Pass, and Yelm. Vivian brings experience in local government and emergency management. She has a strong history of supporting her local schools and looks forward to ensuring that all districts, large and small, have the resources and support they need so students across the region can succeed.

Tiffany Sevruk will serve District 7, part of the North Thurston and the Tumwater areas. Tiffany recently served on the North Thurston Public School board and participated in the Washington State School Directors' Association and legislative activities for her district. She believes that strong regional leadership helps every district succeed and that ESDs provide essential services that individual districts often can't sustain alone.

The board also named Cheryl Vance as the new District 2 representative, replacing outgoing board member Don Rash, who resigned mid-term. Cheryl will begin serving in February 2026, representing Adna, Boistfort, Centralia, Chehalis, Evaline, Napavine, Pe Ell, Winlock, and Rochester. She worked as ESD 113's literacy administrator in Teaching & Learning for 25 years before retiring in June 2025. She is excited to serve the ESD in this new capacity.
