Clock Hours

ESD 113 gives state-approved clock hours for teachers through our pdEnroller system. We follow state rules and use a training committee to approve sessions that help school staff learn new skills.

Teachers who want to offer sessions submit forms through pdEnroller at least five days in advance. Forms must include what participants will learn, teacher background, event details, and schedule. We review forms and give event numbers to approved sessions.

Sessions must last one hour or more and meet district needs. Teachers must know their subject well. We do not approve routine meetings, social events, or independent study. Sessions must connect to student learning, teacher standards, school improvement, or teaching methods.

Teachers create pdEnroller accounts and sign up for sessions. They must attend in person and sign in each day. Online participants send completion certificates. After we confirm attendance, participants get evaluation links. They have 90 days to finish evaluations and buy clock hours. Late purchases cost 20 percent more.

We count clock hours in half-hour blocks and round down. We keep records for seven years and send email reminders about deadlines.
